We work hard to establish that everything we sell has the strictest possible production criteria. Where possible we source our products from ethical companies, who make the least impact on the environment. Many items are fair-trade, organic or GMO-free and for many years now we have, as far as possible, eliminated palm oil from our products. And it goes without saying that no product has been tested on animals, or contains any animal ingredients, so all items are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Payment Options
We can accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Solo only. We use a secure system for online credit card orders.

Delivery
We always try to dispatch goods within a few days but during busy periods this may not be possible so please allow 21 days for delivery. Delivery is made to the card holders address (if you require delivery to another address please give details in the 'additional information' box, but please note this applies to UK orders only). Postage and package is added at the checkout stage and is calculated as follows:

UK: When ordering Clear Spring products (two bottles minimum) highest postage rate applies.

Wine orders
Wine orders are delivered by Amtrak. Please note that if delivery instructions are not provided on the initial order they cannot be changed at a later stage. Therefore, it is important that you give details in the 'additional information' box as to where the wine can be left if you are out when the delivery is made (e.g. with a neighbour, in the porch, etc).

Overseas Orders
All items, except the Clear Spring household products, perfumes & aftershaves, and alcohol, are available to overseas customers. Please note that the prices stated include a duty (VAT at 15%) not payable outside the EU (except the books and children's items, which are exempt from duty). For orders made from outside the EU this duty will be deducted at the checkout. Delivery is made to the card holders address only.

Order Confirmation
A confirmation email is automatically sent to the email address that you give with your order. Confirmation emails can sometimes be filtered out as spam. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours, please check your spam filter. If you are concerned that we may not have received your order, please email goods@animalaid.co.uk.

Membership Discounts
Existing Animal Aid members will be asked to enter their membership number at the checkout in order to claim their 10% discount.

Gift Vouchers
Please enter gift voucher details at the checkout including the total amount to be redeemed. We will deduct this amount from your order total once we have received your order and verified the voucher number.

Animal Aid's Bank of Scotland Credit Cards
We very much regret that HBOS has withdrawn its support for our Affinity Card scheme. This means that after 30th September 2008, your credit card will no longer raise much needed money for Animal Aid each time you spend. We are extremely disappointed with this outcome and have been in negotiation with the bank for some time, but to no avail. The scheme has been operating for 17 years, raising well in excess of £50,000 over that period, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support over those years.

Door-to Door-Collections
Animal Aid does not authorise door-to-door collections of any items of property, or money. Please be aware that if anyone approaches you on the doorstep to donate to Animal Aid, they are not an official collector.

Basket Problems
The Animal Aid online shop uses javascript and cookies to add to, and keep track of, the contents of the shopping basket. If your browser has javascript and/or cookies disabled the shop will not function correctly and you will experience errors. If 'undefined0undefined' is displayed in the shopping basket and cookies are enabled, clear the basket using the 'Clear basket' link, then exit all browsers. This should do the trick but if the problem persist you may need to clear your browser cache.
